Conditioning/Cardio


Conditioning/Cardio is a big part of IAP. This is essential for athletes to stay in shape and improve their power, quickness, explosiveness, endurance, and mental toughness. We use this to work together with our lifting program specifically. After a lift is the best time for this as it will work the same movements and ideas that were worked in the weight room. The main conditioning methods that are used are hill sprints, 40-yard dash sprints, stairs, hurdles and the speed latter. These can be done any day and all work the essential movements and ideas that athletes need. All work explosiveness, speed, jumping, quickness, lateral speed and power.
